All of our teachers are qualified with STA or ASA and have passed
a lifesaving test with the RLSS/NARS professional bodies. However,
we try to be conscious of safety at all times to prevent accidents
rather than having to deal with them afterwards. With regard to poolside
facilities, it is essential that only authorised pool attendants handle
such things as hoses, etc. Perhaps the most potentially dangerous
time for swimmers is as they enter the water. Seans swim school has
a policy relating to diving that is in compliance with ASA guidelines.
The depths of the pool used by Sean's swim school are:
- Shallow end = 0.6m
- Deep end = 3.0m
